Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Safety Director to lead safety and health initiatives nationwide, aligning with JE Dunn’s strategy and values. The role focuses on implementing programs, providing analytics, and guiding risk and insurance collaboration.

Preference is for the role to be based out of the Kansas City, MO office, with opportunities to support data center, semiconductor and manufacturing projects across the country.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health, construction management or related field (Required).
• 10+ years construction safety experience (Required).
• 5+ years people management experience (Required).
• 2+ years budgeting or financial management experience (Required).

Responsibilities

• Implements, manages and drives environmental, health and safety programs and initiatives.
• Measures environmental, health and safety metrics and provides timely analytics.
• Provides support with Worker’s Compensation claims and coordinates with Risk and Insurance teams.
• Leads the Drug and Alcohol program in accordance with policies.
• Designs, leads, and conducts environmental, health and safety training.
