Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks an experienced Safety Director to lead environmental, health, and safety programs across regional projects. You will implement safety initiatives, measure metrics, and provide timely analysis to regional leadership, brokers and clients, while guiding a team of safety professionals.

You’ll collaborate on drug/alcohol programs, incident investigations, and training, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local regulations and JE Dunn

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health, construction management or related field.
• 10+ years construction safety experience.
• 5+ years people management experience.
• 2+ years budgeting experience.
• Safety leadership on large scale advanced facilities projects (data center, semiconductor, industrial & manufacturing) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements, manages and drives environmental, health and safety programs and initiatives.
• Measures environmental, health and safety metrics and provides timely analytics.
• Supports Worker’s Compensation claims with Risk and Insurance teams.
• Leads the Drug and Alcohol program.
• Attends meetings to discuss EH&S matters and offers timely solutions.
• Designs and conducts EH&S training for Regional safety team members.
• Leads investigation team on serious safety matters within the Region.
• Collaborates with safety professionals nationwide to monitor trends.
• Collaborates with marketing on related presentations and activities.
• Owns prequalification platforms (ISNET, Construct Secure).
• Authors publications for Company communications.
