Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Safety Director to lead safety and health programs across national projects. You will drive EH&S initiatives, analyze metrics, and guide regional teams while partnering with risk, marketing and client teams on high‑tech data center, semiconductor and manufacturing projects.

You will oversee training, incident investigations and Drug/Alcohol programs, with travel and non‑traditional hours as needed to meet business goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health, construction management or related field is required.
10+ years construction safety experience is essential.
5+ years people management experience is essential.
2+ years budgeting or financial management experience is preferred.
Safety leadership experience on large scale advanced facilities/high tech projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

Implements, manages and drives environmental, health and safety programs and initiatives.
Measures EH&S metrics and provides timely analytics.
Leads Drug and Alcohol program in accordance with policies.
Attends meetings to discuss EH&S matters and offers timely solutions.
Designs and conducts EH&S training for Regional safety teams.
Leads investigation teams on serious safety matters within the Region.
Collaborates with safety professionals nationwide to monitor trends and provide recommendations.
Works with client solutions partners and marketing on related activities.
