Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group is seeking a Safety Director to lead safety and health initiatives for national programs in support of data centers, semiconductor, and manufacturing projects. You will implement safety programs, drive metrics, and oversee wellness and compliance across regions.

The role emphasizes leadership of safety teams, experience on large-scale facilities/high-tech projects, and close collaboration with risk, marketing, and client solutions partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety/health, construction management or related field required.
• 10+ years construction safety experience required.
• 5+ years people management experience required.
• 2+ years budgeting or financial management experience required.
• Safety leadership experience on large scale advanced facilities/high tech projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements, manages and drives environmental, health and safety programs and initiatives.
• Measures environmental, health and safety metrics and provides timely analytics.
• Provides support with Worker’s Compensation claims in accordance with company and state policies.
• Leads the Drug and Alcohol program in accordance with corporate policies and practices.
• Designs, leads, and conducts environmental, health and safety training for Regional safety team members.
• Leads the investigation team on serious or catastrophic safety matters within the Region.
