Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks an experienced Safety Director for the Advanced Facilities Group. You will lead safety programs, manage metrics, and guide regional safety teams across national projects including data centers and semiconductor facilities.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in construction safety, 5+ years of people management, and strong knowledge of federal/state regulations. The role emphasizes safety leadership, training, and collaboration with risk, marketing, and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health, construction management or related field is required.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
• 10+ years construction safety experience required.
• 5+ years people management experience required.
• 2+ years budgeting or financial management experience required.
• Safety leadership on large-scale advanced facilities projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements, manages and drives EH&S programs and initiatives.
• Measures EH&S metrics and provides analytics.
• Supports Worker’s Compensation claims with Risk and Insurance teams.
• Leads the Drug and Alcohol program per policy.
• Designs and conducts EH&S training for regional teams.
• Learns, investigates and resolves serious safety matters.
• Collaborates with nationwide safety professionals to monitor trends.
• Supports marketing with related presentations and materials.
• Owns prequalification platforms (ISNET, Construct Secure) with client partners.
