Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an experienced Safety Director for the Advanced Facilities Group to provide strategic safety direction and lead regional EH&S programs. You will develop and drive safety initiatives, manage metrics, and support workers’ compensation processes across national projects including data centers, semiconductors, and industrial facilities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in safety/health or related field, 10+ years in construction safety, and 5+ years of people

Qualifications

10+ years construction safety experience (Required).
5+ years people management experience (Required).
2+ years budgeting or financial management experience (Required).
Safety leadership on large-scale advanced facilities/high-tech projects (Preferred).

Responsibilities

Implements, manages and drives environmental, health and safety programs and initiatives.
Measures EHS metrics and provides analytics using internal tools.
Supports Workers’ Compensation claims with Risk/Insurance teams.
Provides timely analytical info on EHS and workers’ comp issues to executives.
Leads Drug and Alcohol program per corporate policies.
Attends meetings to discuss EHS matters and offers solutions.
Designs, leads and conducts EHS training for Regional safety teams.
Leads investigation team on serious safety matters within the Region.
Collaborates with safety professionals nationwide to monitor trends.
Collaborates with marketing on related presentations and activities.
Owns prequalification platforms (ISNET, Construct Secure) with client partners.
Authors publications for Company communications.
Leads diversity and inclusion initiatives across JE Dunn.
