Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Safety Director for the Advanced Facilities Group to lead safety programs and drive health and safety initiatives across national projects. The role oversees analytics, training, and worker safety, with a strong emphasis on accident prevention and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of construction safety experience, 5+ years of people management, and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety/health, construction management or related field is required.
• 10+ years construction safety experience is required.
• 5+ years of people management experience is required.
• 2+ years budgeting or financial management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Implements, manages and drives environmental, health and safety programs and initiatives.
• Measures EH&S metrics and provides timely analytics using internal tools.
• Provides support with Worker’s Compensation claims in accordance with policies.
• Leads the Drug and Alcohol program in accordance with corporate policies.
• Leads the investigation team on serious or catastrophic safety matters.
• Leads, supports and promotes a culture of diversity and inclusion.
