Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an experienced Safety Director for the Advanced Facilities Group to lead safety and health programs nationwide. You will drive environmental, health and safety initiatives, manage analytics, and support client prequalification efforts on large data center, semiconductor, and industrial projects.

The role requires 10+ years in construction safety, 5+ years people management, and a Bachelor’s in a safety-related field.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health or related field is required.
10+ years of construction safety experience.
5+ years of people management experience.
2+ years budgeting or financial management experience.
Safety leadership on large-scale advanced facilities projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Implements, manages and drives environmental, health and safety programs and initiatives.
Measures EH&S metrics and provides analytics using internal tools.
Supports Worker’s Compensation claims with Risk and Insurance teams.
Provides timely analytical information to regional executives and stakeholders.
Leads the Drug and Alcohol program per corporate policies.
Attends meetings to discuss EH&S matters and offers timely solutions.
Designs, leads and conducts EH&S training for regional safety teams.
Leads the investigation team on serious safety matters within the Region.
Collaborates with nationwide safety professionals to monitor trends.
Collaborates with marketing on safety-related presentations.
Owns prequalification platforms (ISNET, Construct Secure) with client partners input.
Authors publications for company communications.
Learns and promotes a culture of diversity and inclusion within JE Dunn.
