Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks an experienced Safety Director for its Advanced Facilities Group. This role provides leadership on safety and health, implements programs, analyzes metrics, and guides training across the region to align with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction safety, 5+ years managing people, and strong knowledge of EH&S regulations, with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety/health, construction management or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• Experience leading safety programs on large projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements, manages and drives environmental, health and safety programs.
• Measures EH&S metrics and provides analytics using internal tools.
• Supports Workers’ Compensation claims with Risk and Insurance teams.
• Leads Drug and Alcohol program per corporate policies.
• Designs and conducts EH&S training for regional teams.
• Leads investigations on serious safety matters and supports cross‑country collaboration.
