Job summary

Garney Construction is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support the Safety Manager in administering training, maintaining documentation, and assisting with jobsite inspections and compliance. The role requires OSHA 30, a safety or construction-related degree preferred, and construction knowledge.

You will coordinate with field supervision, lead toolbox talks, and help enforce safety signage and procedures on site.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• A degree in safety or construction-related field is preferred.
• Construction experience or knowledge is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Support project and regional safety efforts.
• Assist with safety training and maintain jobsite safety binders and documentation.
• Conduct jobsite safety inspections.
• Coordinate with field supervisors on equipment and PPE needs.
• Ensure proper project and safety signage is in place.
• Review safety results and company safety documents.
• Lead toolbox talks and promote a strong safety culture.
