Garney is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support the Safety Manager by administering project safety training, maintaining documentation, and assisting with inspections and compliance efforts.

This role involves coordinating with field supervisors on equipment and PPE needs, ensuring proper signage, and leading toolbox talks to promote a strong safety culture on site. Occasional travel for job site visits and training may be required.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• A degree in safety or a construction-related field is preferred.
• Construction experience or knowledge is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills are essential.
• Self-motivated and adaptable individuals succeed in this role.
• Effective communication and time management are important.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam is expected.
• Willingness to work on a jobsite or in an office five days per week.
• Willingness to travel for job site visits and specialized training.

Responsibilities

• Support project and regional safety efforts.
• Assist with safety training and maintain jobsite safety binders and documentation.
• Conduct jobsite safety inspections.
• Coordinate with field supervisors on equipment and PPE needs.
• Ensure proper project and safety signage is in place.
• Review safety results and company safety documents.
• Lead toolbox talks and promote a strong safety culture.
