Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspects facility operations to ensure safe practices and proper use of PPE and guards.
• Investigates accidents and near-misses and coordinates corrective actions.
• Develops safety programs and incentives with management.
• Conducts new-hire safety training and ensures understanding of policies.
• Trains employees on safe operation of machinery and equipment.
• Chairs the Safety Committee and maintains OSHA 300 logs and reports.
• Coordinates annual fire inspections and tours by regulatory agencies.
• Monitors hearing conservation program and medical restrictions for staff.
• Maintains communication with management, HR, and third-party claims administrators.
• Prepares regular and special safety reports.
