Job summary

Branding Iron Holdings, LLC in Rochester, MN is seeking a Safety & Continuous Improvement Specialist to strengthen the facility's safety culture and identify opportunities to improve processes and operations.

Role focuses on building stronger safety practices, training delivery, and supporting cross-functional improvement initiatives while leveraging Lean concepts and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of relevant experience in workplace safety within manufacturing or related environment, or a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Interest in workplace safety and operational improvement; willingness to learn new concepts, requirements, and processes.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; respond during emergencies.
• OSHA 30-hour General Industry training preferred; training available.
• Experience in food manufacturing or regulated environment preferred.
• Familiarity with 5S, standard work, visual management, Lean problem solving, or similar methods.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen safety processes, procedures, and work practices.
• Develop relationships and understanding of day-to-day work practices across the facility.
• Identify and address safety concerns via observations, inspections, and hazard reviews.
• Investigate safety incidents, near misses, and hazards to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Maintain safety documentation and support regulatory recordkeeping and compliance.
• Coordinate and deliver practical safety training accordingly.
