Job summary

AAR Corp. is seeking an EH&S Specialist to support health and safety programs at our Cadillac, MI facility. You will help develop policies, SOPs, and training, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities include coordinating quarterly safety trainings, onboarding new hires, conducting in-plant investigations to identify root causes, and delivering corrective actions. Prior OSHA 30 training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of applicable federal and state health and safety regulations.
• Experience with Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and GHS/HAZCOM training.
• OSHA 30-hour GI training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing safety and health programs and SOPs across the facility.
• Coordinate safety trainings and new-hire orientations on health issues.
• Carry out in-plant accident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain charts/graphs to analyze incident trends and drive remedies.
• Participate in MIOSHA CETs training within the first 90 days.
