Job summary

AAR Corp is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager II to develop and lead comprehensive EHS programs ensuring compliance with applicable laws and standards. The role emphasizes risk mitigation, incident investigations, audits, and fostering a culture of safety across manufacturing and operational environments.

Primary responsibilities include regulatory liaison, program oversight, and leading continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on environmental stewardship and workforce

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred in Occupational Safety, Environmental Management or related discipline.
• 5–7 years of progressive EHS experience, preferably in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• 3 years in a leadership/management role responsible for EHS programs.
• Experience managing regulatory compliance, risk assessments, audits and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive health, safety and environmental programs to ensure regulatory and corporate compliance.
• Lead EHS initiatives, drive continuous improvement and promote a safety culture across the organization.
• Liaise with government agencies, regulators and external auditors as required.
• Oversee risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, and corrective action programs.
• Coordinate training and communication related to health, safety and environmental topics.
