Job summary

M-Team Solutions is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Specialist for a manufacturing company in Auburn Hills, MI. This contract-to-direct opportunity focuses on administering and improving HSE programs to ensure regulatory compliance and reduce workplace risks.

The role involves collaborating with Operations, Engineering, Facilities, HR, and others to identify hazards, conduct trainings and audits, investigate incidents, and maintain ISO standards while fostering a proactive safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a safety, health, environment-related field.
• Minimum of 2 years in a health, safety, environmental or related role.
• Working knowledge of OSHA/MIOSHA, EPA, NFPA and other HSE requirements.
• Experience conducting inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and investigations.
• Experience developing and delivering employee safety training.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and improve HSE programs, systems, policies and procedures.
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions in coordination with departments.
• Conduct training, audits, and incident investigations to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain relationships with Operations, Engineering, Facilities, HR and others.
• Prepare regulatory reports and support ISO certifications and audits.
