Job summary

Shepherd Electric Supply is seeking a Safety and Compliance Coordinator to safeguard operations across locations. You will organize safety programs, maintain compliance records, and drive corrective actions to closure, ensuring OSHA and DOT standards are met.

The role involves collaborating with branch managers, warehouse teams, drivers, and vendors to keep safety training and documentation current. Monday–Friday, daytime hours, with a focus on proactive safety leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in workplace safety, compliance, operations.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT regulations and incident reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple programs and document corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Audit operations safety, compliance, and training completion.
• Maintain posters, emergency plans, and incident documentation.
• Track certifications, inspections, and corrective actions through completion.
• Collaborate with branches, drivers, HR, and vendors to boost safety culture.
