Job summary

South Central FS, Inc. is seeking a Safety and Compliance Coordinator to ensure a safe working environment across all locations. You will administer safety programs, oversee workers’ compensation and crop claims, and align DOT procedures with federal and state laws.

Travel up to 40% to locations within the trade territory, supervise driver files, develop safety policies, and maintain OSHA, EPA, FMCSA compliance while coordinating training and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or 5 years related experience or training.
• Experience in safety program administration and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, EPA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure scheduling and recording of physicals and drug screens.
• Monitor CDL drivers for proper license class and compliance.
• Oversee all insurance and claims processing.
• Develop safety policies through regulatory research and policy updates.
• Oversee driver files and annual inspections for compliance.
• Plan and manage department goals and systems.
• Maintain confidential personnel information.
• Coordinate OSHA, DOT, EPA, FMCSA compliance and audits.
• Develop, implement and communicate safety procedures.
• Identify hazards and implement safety measures.
