United Rentals is seeking a Manager, Safety Compliance to develop and maintain occupational health and safety policies and programs. You will lead the contractor management systems, audits, and customer safety inquiries while coordinating with field teams and national account managers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5–10 years of safety experience, with CSP/ASP/CHMM/CIH preferred and up to 20% travel. Strong communication and proficiency in MS Office are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree required.
• 5–10 years of experience in occupational safety and health.
• CSP, ASP, CHMM, CIH preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, FAA, EPA, MSHA and ANSI/NFPA/NEC standards.

Responsabilités

• Generate and manage responses to customer safety inquiries including pre-qualification packages, safety audits and variances.
• Review safety-related sections of legal documents to support customer contract reviews.
• Support safety strategy projects, training development and other department needs.
• Develop and maintain occupational safety and health policies and procedures.
• Oversee customer contractor management systems (ISN, Avetta) and vendor relationships; generate monthly/quarterly reporting.
• Lead and mentor the safety team; set goals, conduct reviews and coach analysts.
• Receive and manage OSHA and MSHA citations support.
