Job summary

HazTek Safety Management is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee safety operations on commercial construction projects. This role will ensure OSHA compliance, implement best safety practices, and foster a culture where every worker goes home safe.

Minimum 7 years in construction safety, a safety-related degree, OSHA 510/500 a plus; CHST or CSP preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication and MS Office skills required. Travel/relocation as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years direct construction safety experience required.
• Degree in a safety related field preferred.
• OSHA 510 and/or 500 a plus.
• CHST or CSP preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of construction safety standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance.
• Conduct daily safety meetings.
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations.
• Daily safety audits and inspections.
• Oversee all subcontractors and contractors.
• Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation.
