Job summary

Fabick Cat in Missouri is seeking a Safety Administrator to manage the Health and Safety program's data backbone across locations. You will maintain records, coordinate training, and ensure compliance and audit readiness.

Reporting to the Safety Director, you will handle OSHA and MSHA recordkeeping, safety software, and reporting, supporting leadership with timely, reliable safety information and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 2+ years of experience in a safety, HR, or administrative coordination role.
• Experience in heavy equipment, construction, or industrial environments preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA recordkeeping (29 CFR 1904) and general-industry standards; EPA/DOT knowledge a plus.
• MSHA recordkeeping and reporting (30 CFR Parts 48) preferred; training provided.
• Professional certification or progress toward one (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour) preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software (Avetta, ISNetworld).
• Ability to travel up to 10–15% between Fabick CAT locations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain OSHA 300/300A/301 logs and annual 300A posting; ensure reporting.
• Maintain MSHA records and reporting.
• Administer Safety Management System (SMS); data entry, maintenance, support, reporting.
• Verify SDS and chemical inventory records in 3E database across locations.
• Track medical surveillance records and confidentiality retention compliance.
• Maintain document control for policies, procedures, and permits with revision history.
• Coordinate safety training; maintain training matrix and expirations.
