General Motors Company is seeking a Simulation Lead Engineer (GPSSC) in Warren, MI, to lead safety simulation efforts across major programs. You will guide architectural development, coordinate CAE activities, and mentor engineers to deliver high-quality results that meet vehicle requirements.

The role requires strong experience in CAE methods, LS-Dyna, and multi-team coordination, with a focus on early design decisions and program integration.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Aerospace or Biomechanics Engineering or similar.
• 5+ years industry experience in safety and crashworthiness integration and CAE activities.
• Knowledge of FMVSS and global safety regulatory standards.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership in early program phases for packaging to meet safety requirements.
• Coordinate SVR/Safety CAE deliveries with program teams and PTLs.
• Lead safety master model build, validation plans, and release processes.
• Mentor CAE engineers and ensure quality and on-time deliverables.
