Job summary

TW Constructors in Haskell, Texas is seeking a Safety Administrator to bolster our safety operations by managing training records, compliance reports, and incident logs. The role blends administrative duties with supervised field support to build a foundational understanding of site safety protocols.

You will coordinate training, maintain SDS and equipment logs, assist in onboarding, and help ensure regulatory forms and permits are current within a collaborative safety-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of job-site safety experience, or a combination of education and experience.
• General knowledge of construction principles and practices required.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction accreditation preferred.
• OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer certification is a plus.
• Willingness to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Safety File Management: Organize, file, and maintain safety documents including training logs, incident reports, inspection checklists, and permits.
• Compliance Documentation: Assist in preparing regulatory forms and ensuring permits are current.
• Safety Data Sheets (SDS): Maintain an up-to-date library of SDS for chemicals on site.
• Equipment and Maintenance Logs: Track safety equipment inspections and maintenance schedules.
• Data Entry and Analysis: Input data into a safety management system to track trends.
• Training Coordination: Schedule and document safety meetings and orientations.
• New Hire Onboarding: Assist in safety orientation for new workers and subcontractors.
• Correspondence: Draft safety communications and meeting minutes.
• Inventory Management: Manage PPE, manuals, and training materials.
• Site Walk-Through Assistance: Support onsite inspections and distribute materials.
• Hazard Documentation: Document hazards and track corrective actions.
• Checklist Management: Distribute and review daily safety checklists.
• Basic Auditing: Verify workers have required certifications.
