Job summary

CEC FACILITIES LLC is seeking a Safety Coordinator in Haskell, TX to implement safety programs, conduct field walks, ensure regulatory compliance and oversee corrective actions. The role focuses on coaching staff to improve safety culture on project sites and is safety sensitive.

Responsibilities include ORM/JHA board development, daily safety audits, incident investigations, tool inspections, and subcontractor compliance. Day/night shifts and overtime may apply based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Degree or extensive training in environmental health and safety discipline a plus.
• 1–3 years construction safety experience (electrical, mechanical safety preferred).
• OSHA 30 Construction required; OSHA 510/511 preferred.
• Bi-lingual skills are a plus and may aid site communications.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coach Foremen in completing ORM boards and Job Hazard Analyses; document daily ORM board.
• Work day and/or night shifts, overtime, and weekends as project schedule requires.
• Submit Site Safety Audit reports daily with findings, corrective actions, and photos.
• Interact with field personnel and supervision to address observations and resolutions.
• Conduct site safety orientations for new employees joining the project as applicable.
• Assist site supervision in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Perform periodic audits of tools and equipment to ensure good maintenance.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with project safety rules and requirements.
• Carry out other related duties to support efficient safety operations.
