Job summary

Doosan Bobcat NA US is seeking a Release Train Engineer to lead Agile SAFe practices across multiple teams. This hybrid role combines remote work with in-office collaboration at our Minneapolis area location.

You will synchronize program increments, coaches, and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality software solutions. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in software engineering and 3+ years as an RTE, strong leadership, and a results‑driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years in software engineering and management roles, with at least 3+ years as a Release Train Engineer or similar role in a SAFe/Agile environment.
• Deep understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP), and SAFe framework.
• Leadership and communication across all levels of the organization with proven cross-functional team delivery.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, modern engineering practices, and technologies; experience in cloud technologies, microservices, DevOps, and CI/CD is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making.
• Ability to foster a collaborative, high-performance culture across teams and departments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a servant leader and coach for Agile teams, driving SAFe practices and principles across the ART.
• Support the Agile Release Train framework by facilitating PI planning sessions, sprint demos, retrospectives, and Scrum of Scrums.
• Establish KPIs for the ART and regularly track progress, reporting to leadership and stakeholders.
• Oversee program-level execution and provide visibility into progress, metrics and roadblocks.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Solution Architects, product owners, Scrum Masters and stakeholders to align goals and dependencies.
• Identify risks and dependencies early and develop mitigation strategies; escalate when needed.
• Mentor Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and team leads in Agile best practices and SAFe principles.
• Establish best practices for ART retrospectives and process improvements to boost efficiency and throughput.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure delivery alignment with strategic goals.
