Job summary

cb5 Solutions LLC is seeking a Release Train Engineer to lead a DoD SAFe Agile Release Train in a government setting onsite in Colorado Springs, CO (with limited travel to Huntsville, AL or DC/N Virginia). The RTE will drive SAFe ceremonies, manage cross-team dependencies, and ensure security and compliance requirements are met.

The role requires 5+ years of Agile leadership, SAFe experience, and active DoD Clearances.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Agile delivery, Scrum Mastery, or program-level leadership.
• Active DoD/DoW Secret and Top Secret security clearances.
• Experience facilitating SAFe ceremonies and guiding Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate SAFe ceremonies (PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART Sync, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt).
• Serve as chief Scrum Master for the ART across 8 teams.
• Maintain disciplined program cadence aligned with DoD requirements.
• Deliver high-quality Program Increments and manage risks, dependencies, and impediments.
• Coordinate with Product Management, System Architects, and cybersecurity teams to align priorities.
