Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks an experienced SAFe Program Leader to guide PI Planning and ART delivery. You will coach teams and stakeholders, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement to align delivery with business objectives.

The role requires deep SAFe expertise, strong facilitation, and solid experience with Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps. A Bachelor's degree and 11+ years in Agile PM are preferred.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of experience with SAFe Agile Framework and Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience facilitating PI Planning and Agile Release Train (ART) ceremonies.
• Agile Program Management experience with dependency, risk, and issue management.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
• Strong conflict resolution and servant leadership mindset.
• No CPT/OPT.
• SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of Agile Project or Program Management experience preferred.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, DevOps, and CI/CD environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
• Coordinate multiple Agile teams within the Agile Release Train (ART).
• Manage program risks, dependencies, issues, and impediments.
• Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Agile teams on SAFe best practices.
• Monitor Agile delivery metrics including velocity, predictability, burn-up/burn-down, and flow metrics.
• Partner with Product Management, Architects, Business Owners, and stakeholders to align delivery with business objectives.
• Drive continuous process improvement across Agile teams.
• Provide regular program status updates to leadership.
