Ymcaokc is hiring a part-time Child Watch Attendant to supervise children, lead age-appropriate activities, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for families at the YMCA. You will coordinate with parents and guardians and enforce safety policies during supervision shifts.

The role emphasizes strong communication, patience, and reliability, with CPR/First Aid certification preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is required, and training can be provided if needed.

Formación

• Experience working with children in childcare, babysitting, or similar setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain attentive, patient, and calm in a dynamic environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred; training can be provided if necessary
• Reliable, responsible, and punctual

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and monitor children in the drop-in Child Watch facility to ensure safety
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for children and parents
• Enforce facility rules and safety policies consistently
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding child needs or concerns
• Respond promptly to emergencies or behavioral issues
