Job summary

YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City is seeking a Child Watch staff member to provide a safe, fun environment for children. You will maintain attendance records, keep the area clean and report to parents regularly, while engaging with kids through structured activities.

The role requires CPR/First Aid certification (training provided) and candidates must be at least 16 years old with experience caring for children. This is a part-time, on-site position in Edmond, OK.

Qualifications

• Must be certified in PR/CPR, AED, O2, and First Aid (training provided by the Y if needed).
• Must be 16 years old with experience working with infants and children.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and active movement.

Responsibilities

• Keep accurate attendance and enrollment records.
• Keep child watch area clean and equipment organized; supervise children.
• Communicate regularly with parents and interact with children.
• Develop meaningful relationships with members, donors and volunteers.
