Job summary

Rexel USA in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to deliver prompt, friendly service and product knowledge to customers while processing purchases and returns. You will work with the branch team to stock showrooms and assist with daily tasks.

Responsibilities include driving electrical distribution sales for counter customers, maintaining product knowledge, and communicating safety or customer concerns to the manager. A valid driver’s license and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Electrical product knowledge and experience preferred
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously with their purchases and processing of their orders or returns
• Assist in driving electrical distribution sales for our counter business and developing new and existing customer relationships
• Stay informed and educated on product knowledge
• Inform manager of any potentially hazard or elevated situation pertaining to safety or customer satisfaction
• Assist with daily restocking, showroom maintenance, and keeping showroom and counter clean and organized
• May perform other branch duties including inside sales, order processing, stocking, and shipping as required
• May deliver up to 20% of the time
• Perform other duties as assigned
