Job summary

Flight Centre Travel Group USA is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to serve as the technical backbone of our sales team. You will partner with Account Executives to win and grow complex, high-value opportunities, blending technical expertise with consultative solutioning to show business value.

You will work across Sales, Product, and Enablement to shape client solutions, influence product feedback, and elevate technical selling capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting SaaS sales cycles, ideally in travel, expense management, fintech, or broader B2B software.
• Familiarity with API integrations, SSO/identity providers, and enterprise IT procurement processes.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated success supporting or influencing sales cycles and business outcomes.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading discovery conversations with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborative approach with experience cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Enablement teams.
• Curiosity, continuous learning mindset, and passion for knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to advance and close complex opportunities.
• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand client integration, data, workflow, and technology requirements.
• Own and coordinate the technical components of RFP and RFI responses.
• Engage with IT, security, procurement, and technical stakeholders on topics like SSO, APIs, and platform integrations.
• Deliver tailored product demonstrations that align platform capabilities with client needs and outcomes.
• Design and recommend technical solutions leveraging our technology ecosystem.
• Maintain deep expertise across client-facing platforms and third-party integrations.
• Act as liaison between Sales and Product teams for effective communication.
