Job summary

SoftPro, based in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead a SaaS initiative. Hybrid work 2–3 days in the office, guiding high-performing teams across Azure tech and modern front-end stacks.

You will mentor engineers, align delivery with product goals, and drive DevOps automation and secure coding practices. The role demands 7+ years in software development, 5+ years in leadership, 3+ years with AKS, and proven ability to improve quality, speed, and morale through

Qualifications

7+ years of hands-on software development experience.
5+ years of experience managing and mentoring engineering teams in an agile environment.
3+ years of experience with microservices on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Lead teams that are a mix of in-house and nearshore resources; own delivery from planning to deployment.
Champion modern Azure-centric SDLC with emphasis on agile delivery, DevOps automation and CI/CD.
Enforce high engineering standards through code reviews and secure-by-default design.
Drive adoption of Azure-native observability and deployment tools (Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, AKS).
Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects and other Development Managers to deliver a customer-delighting solution.
