Job summary

SoftPro, the nation's leading provider of real estate closing and title insurance software, seeks a Senior Software Engineer/Team Lead to drive design, development, and testing for our SaaS platform. The role includes mentoring team members and guiding technical direction, with option for Raleigh, NC office, remote, or hybrid work.

You will work with C#, .NET Core, SQL Server, and Azure; develop microservices on Kubernetes; and promote code quality through unit testing and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on software development in C# and .NET Core.
• Team lead or management experience with mentoring.
• Experience with Angular, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Web services, XML, and JSON proficiency.
• Microservice-based apps on Kubernetes.
• Strong unit testing with MSTest, NUnit, or xUnit.
• SQL Server and/or CosmosDB experience is a plus.
• Solid Agile/Scrum process knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and code new features and enhancements, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Work with Microsoft technologies: C#, SQL Server, and Azure.
• Develop tools and practices to increase team efficiency (containerized development/testing).
• Collaborate using Azure DevOps for task tracking and source control.
• Follow established procedures, version control, and coding standards.
• Perform thorough unit and integration testing.
• Adhere to Agile development practices and deliver high-quality software.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams and mentor teammates.
