Job summary

SoftPro is seeking a Senior Software Engineer/Team Lead to drive design, development, and testing of features for our SaaS platform. You will mentor teammates and guide technical directions, focusing on performance and reliability.

You will work with C#, .NET Core, SQL Server and Azure, collaborating across a cross-functional team while contributing to agile processes. Remote or hybrid options available with occasional Raleigh visits.

Qualifications

6+ years of hands-on software development in C# and .NET Core.
Team lead or management experience.
Experience with Angular, Node.js, TypeScript.
Experience with Web Services, XML and JSON.
Experience developing microservice-based apps on Kubernetes.
Extensive unit testing with MSTest, NUnit or xUnit.
SQL Server and/or CosmosDB experience is a plus.
Strong Agile/Scrum development process experience.

Responsibilities

Design and code new features and enhancements for the SaaS platform.
Troubleshoot production issues and improve performance.
Mentor and guide team members in design and implementation decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Azure DevOps for planning and tracking.
Follow established procedures, version control, and coding standards.
Conduct thorough unit and integration testing.
Support agile development practices and ceremonies.
Work with the team to deliver high-quality software on schedule.
