Job summary

SCS Global Services is seeking a Senior Manager, Software Development to partner with product, project managers, engineers and leadership to define priorities, allocate resources, and keep projects on track. The role oversees Azure dashboards, telemetry reporting, GitHub configuration, and Terraform provisioning while advancing secure, scalable development practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent.
8+ years of technical experience including full-stack development and cloud technologies.
5+ years leading a development team of 5+ developers across disciplines.
Strong organization, prioritization, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Vendor management and partner relations experience.
Decision-making ability in ambiguous environments and independent work style.

Responsibilities

Provide strong technical and managerial leadership to the software development team.
Collaborate with product and project managers to define requirements and priorities.
Oversee Terraform for Azure provisioning and GitHub configuration.
Review telemetry, dashboards, and uptime metrics to ensure security and reliability.
Lead change management, ensure SLAs, and coordinate with Help Desk for smooth operations.
Drive continuous improvement and cross-team communication with engineering, product, support, and leadership.
