Job summary

SoftPro, headquartered in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a Software Development Manager for the SaaS initiative. The role leads Azure-centric development teams, drives DevOps culture, and collaborates with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to meet commitments.

Ideal candidates bring extensive MS stack expertise, leadership in agile settings, and experience with AKS and AI-assisted SDLC approaches, reporting to the Director of Software Engineering.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software development with the MS stack (C#, .NET, SQL Server).
• 5+ years managing engineering teams in an agile environment.
• 3+ years of microservices on AKS or similar orchestration platforms.
• Experience with AI-based development and SDLC tools (Agentic coding).
• Proven ability to implement engineering metrics (DORA, SPACE) to improve quality and velocity.

Responsibilities

• Champion and improve a modern Azure-centric SDLC with CI/CD and DevOps automation.
• Enforce high engineering standards through code reviews and secure-by-default design.
• Drive adoption of Azure-native observability, resilience, and deployment tools.
• Lead teams across onshore and nearshore resources and manage delivery end-to-end.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Architects to deliver delightful solutions.
