Job summary

Thryv, a leading SaaS platform provider for small businesses, is recruiting a Software Account Representative. The role focuses on expanding penetration within existing clients, driving engagement with Thryv software, and acquiring new SaaS clients through self-prospecting and company programs.

You will conduct client visits and virtual demos, execute standardized sales cadences, and collaborate with marketing and tech to drive strategy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct sales experience required (preferably in a SaaS role or company).
• 2+ years’ experience in outbound sales (full sales cycle) role required.
• Industry knowledge with the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to build relationships.
• Time and organization skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with competing schedules or conflicting demands.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment, effectively conducting sales presentations while following company established processes and procedures.
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS office and the ability to learn new programs and systems.
• 50% driving requirement and valid drivers license.
• Must live local to the city of the job posting (within a 1-hour commute)

Responsibilities

• Increase Thryv’s penetration to the existing client base and grow SaaS client base.
• Nurture and grow relationships with existing software clients and pursue new opportunities.
• Call on assigned clients and present opportunities for additional sales or extended usage.
• Execute defined operational processes for client engagement, product demos, and orders.
• Participate in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed.
