Job summary

NEOGOV in Draper, Utah is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join the Finance team onsite Monday–Friday. You will generate invoices, manage credits, and coordinate with Sales, Renewals, and accounting to ensure timely month-end close.

The role requires 5+ years in SaaS billing, managing high-volume billables, and strong knowledge of Salesforce and NetSuite. Excellent analytic and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a SaaS Billing role (strongly preferred).
• Experience managing a large book of business with high volume of billables.
• Knowledge of invoicing, credits, and co-term subscriptions.

Responsibilities

• Generate and process customer invoices, credits and adjusting invoices to co-term subscriptions.
• Review contracts to determine invoicing needs and ensure policy alignment.
• Collaborate with Sales to discuss inconsistencies on new deals.
• Coordinate renewal invoicing with Renewals team and address churn/bill inquiries.
• Handle billing inquiries in Salesforce (cases) and Google Chat.
• Support month-end/year-end closing, audits, and ad-hoc accounting projects.
• Work with billing and revenue managers to identify risks and improve processes.
