Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks a seasoned S&OP Master Planner to coordinate the master plan for aeroderivative gas turbine production and service. You’ll collaborate across engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing to balance demand with capacity and constraints, surfacing risks early and delivering executable plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in master planning, production planning, or S&OP within a complex manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP or Oracle) and advanced Excel.
• Understanding of bill of materials, capacity planning, and configuration-controlled manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to work effectively across functions and influence decisions in a matrixed organization.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to adapt in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a feasible global plan aligned with demand forecasts, capacities, bottlenecks and material availability
• Prepare S&OP reports presenting clear, data-driven scenarios and trade-offs
• Identify supply-demand imbalances, capacity constraints, and material risks; collaborate with capacity owners and master planners to mitigate risks
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to align priorities and execution plans
• Monitor and improve key S&OP performance indicators (CD, schedule adherence, inventory health, capacity utilization)
• Support continuous improvement by refining planning assumptions, processes, and data accuracy
