Job summary

Siemens Energy in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Load Planning Manager to contribute to our global planning team. You will lead demand planning, coordinate mid- and long-term planning, and drive forecast accuracy for our fleet of generators and turbines, interfacing with Sales, Product Management and engineering.

This role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and 5+ years in power generation, with strong planning, IT tools, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of power generation experience or similar industry.
• Experience with generator or steam turbines.
• Experience with production planning, forecasting and customer service with planning systems integration.
• Experience with IT applications such as MS Office, SAP, Salesforce, Tableau, Mendix.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficient in English, spoken and written.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Lead demand planning and forecast accuracy improvements.
• Coordinate mid- and long-term planning and slot allocation with internal factories.
• Develop scenario plans to ensure all projects can be served.
• Lead inventory planning for major components and risk stock planning.
• Communicate capacity, capability and lead-time to internal customers and align with factories.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management and factories.
