DSJ Global is seeking a Capacity Planner to support S&OP across a multi-site manufacturing network. You will balance customer demand with manufacturing capabilities, align plans with growth initiatives, and drive capacity optimization across sites.

The role offers cross-functional exposure with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Planning teams, plus reporting tools to monitor capacity risk, utilization, and service levels, while leading capacity reviews and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in capacity planning or related supply chain functions.
  • Advanced Excel skills with data analysis and modeling.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain capacity plans to support the S&OP process across manufacturing operations.
  • Align demand forecasts with production capacity, labor availability, equipment constraints, and inventory strategies.
  • Analyze supply and demand gaps and identify short- and long-term capacity constraints.
  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Sales, and Planning teams to create executable production plans.
  • Lead capacity reviews and provide recommendations to address risks, constraints, and growth opportunities.
  • Model production and demand scenarios to evaluate impacts on capacity, inventory, customer service, and cost.
  • Coordinate production allocation across multiple facilities to maximize utilization and meet customer requirements.
  • Monitor capacity utilization, forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and on-time delivery.
  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions involving labor, inventory, production transfers, or capital investments.
  • Support new product launches, growth initiatives, and network optimization projects.
  • Develop reporting tools and dashboards that provide visibility into capacity risks and resource requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and operational effectiveness.

Capacity Planner (S&OP / Integrated Business Planning)

A rapidly growing manufacturing organization is seeking a newly created Capacity Planner to support its Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. This individual will play a critical role in balancing customer demand with manufacturing capabilities, ensuring production, labor, inventory, and capacity plans align with business objectives and growth initiatives across a dynamic multi-site network.

This position offers significant cross-functional exposure and the opportunity to influence operational performance, service levels, and long-term capacity strategy across multiple manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain capacity plans to support the S&OP process across manufacturing operations.
  • Align demand forecasts with production capacity, labor availability, equipment constraints, and inventory strategies.

  • Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and modeling.
  • Experience working within ERP/MRP systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
