Job summary

PROENERGY is seeking a Production Planning Manager to lead the gas turbine package manufacturing schedule across Sedalia, MO and Houston, TX. You will convert demand into a sequenced, executable plan and own the master data and planning discipline.

Reporting to the VP of Production Planning, you will drive cross-site capacity, ensure material flow, and align with enterprise ERP to deliver the plan on time while developing the planning team and improving processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in operations, industrial engineering, supply chain, or related field.
• 5+ years in production control, planning, or project-based manufacturing scheduling with direct people leadership.
• Experience planning large, long-cycle assemblies integrating engines or major components.
• Hands-on ERP experience and strong Excel and capacity-modeling capability.

Responsibilities

• Own the package build schedule across Sedalia and Houston sites; sequence assembly to engine delivery dates and major milestones; publish a single prioritised plan.
• Optimize cross-site capacity by documenting bay occupancy, constraints, and build durations; balance load between Sedalia and Houston.
• Lead master data readiness (item masters, BOMs, routings) and enforce accurate material issues and project charges post go-live.
• Integrate material coordination across two campuses with staging, kitting, and use-based delivery disciplines; establish shortage escalation.
