Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to ensure materials are available to support production schedules across multiple manufacturing areas. You will own end-to-end inventory planning, balancing availability, optimization, and financial accuracy within a structured SIOP framework.

The role requires collaboration with Scheduling, Procurement, Finance, and Accounting to estimate inventory needs, align POs, and maintain data integrity between physical stock and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of inventory planning or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, materials planning, and MRP; hands-on SAP or similar ERP and advanced Excel.
• Analytical, detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration across Scheduling, Procurement, Finance, and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Scheduling to determine material inventory levels to meet production targets.
• Collaborate with Procurement to align material ordering with production schedules.
• Estimate material and alloy requirements for short- and long-term plans while minimizing excess and aging inventory.
• Develop strategies to reduce slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory.
• Ensure inventory accuracy between physical stock and SAP through spot counts, cycle counts, and inventories; drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Finance to reconcile inventory accounts and support audits and internal controls.
