Job summary

Norstella is seeking an experienced RWD Analytic Consultant to join the RWD Engagement Team in the United States. You will analyze a wide range of real-world data sources and translate findings into actionable business insights, collaborating with clinicians, data scientists, and healthcare professionals to deliver sophisticated analytics for life sciences clients.

You will work with cutting-edge data solutions in support of Norstella’s mission to improve patient access to therapies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Economics, Epidemiology, Mathematics, Public Health, Computer Science.
• 3+ years of professional experience working hands-on with RWD (claims, lab, EMR/EHR, etc.).
• Understanding of the life sciences industry and US healthcare ecosystem.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Proficiency in querying relational databases; SQL experience preferred.
• Client-facing experience a plus; entrepreneurial and results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Query and analyze healthcare data sources (claims, lab results, EMR, and other RWD).
• Enhance understanding of healthcare trends and drive evidence-based decision-making.
• Collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, statisticians, and healthcare professionals to define analytical requirements and deliver insights.
• Clean, validate, and transform raw data into structured formats for analysis.
• Develop data documentation, dictionaries, mappings, and lineage for transparency.
• Translate analytic outputs into consultative business insights.
