Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat-Rate) to diagnose and repair RV coach systems, generators, and coach body work. The ideal candidate will handle electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and maintenance tasks with attention to safety and quality.

Certification opportunities are available, and RVIA certification is helpful but not required. The role requires hands-on skills, the ability to lift up to 25 lbs (50 lbs with assistance), and a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in a trade field is helpful but not required.
• Minimum of 1 year service technician experience or related fields preferred.
• RVIA certification helpful but not required.
• Must furnish own hand/shop tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with or without assistive devices.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance.
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Keep supervisor apprised of work progress.
• Ensure final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
