Job summary

Camping World seeks a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) to diagnose and repair RV coach systems, generators, and related mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical issues. The role requires self‑motivated, detail oriented professionals with hands‑on maintenance experience.

Certification support is provided for qualified employees. Experience in Plumbing, Carpentry, HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, or RV Service is desired.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in a trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance) or relevant work experience
• Minimum of 1 year of service technician experience in related fields
• RVIA certification helpful but not required
• Ability to safely work at heights and with electrical/welding equipment
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions (heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust, wetness)
• Ability to stand, stoop, crawl, bend for prolonged periods
• Must furnish own hand/shop tools
• Must lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices
• Valid driver’s license preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
• Keep supervisor appraised of work progress
• Ensure final work product meets quality standards and is inspected as required
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers
