Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat-Rate) to diagnose and repair RV coach systems, generators, and coach bodies. The role emphasizes attention to detail, self-motivation, and broad maintenance skills in mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and related areas.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of service experience or related fields; certification is encouraged and RVIA certification is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Certification in trade field is helpful but hands-on experience is acceptable.
• Minimum 1 year service technician experience preferred.
• RVIA certification helpful but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance.
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Keep supervisor apprised of work progress.
• Ensure final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
