Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) to diagnose and repair RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC and bodywork. The role requires attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to work across mechanical and maintenance tasks.

Certification from a college/technical program is helpful; RVIA certification is optional. The position involves documented diagnostics, parts tracking, and ensuring work quality meets supervisor standards in a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in trade field; RVIA certification helpful but not required.
• Minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred.
• RVIA certification helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
• Keep supervisor appraised of work progress
• Ensure final work meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers
