Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California is seeking a RUSH Program Supervisor to oversee housing assistance for people experiencing homelessness or at risk. The role blends direct client management with supervising case managers and coordinating program activities in a fast-paced community setting.

You will ensure compliance with program standards, manage reported data in HMIS, and collaborate with property managers and partners to secure housing and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience in social work, human services, counseling or a related field
• At least 2-3 years of professional homeless services or disaster recovery experience, with 1-2 in leadership or supervision
• Experience working with homeless individuals with mental illness or substance use issues

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program work plans and lead workgroups.
• Provide direct supervision to case managers and conduct performance evaluations.
• Link clients to housing, financial assistance, and entitlements in urgent cases.
• Ensure compliance with program standards and reporting requirements.
• Review participant files and audit HMIS data to maintain accuracy.
• Collaborate with property managers and partners to streamline housing navigation.
• Develop and deliver staff training and case plans.
