Job summary

Soap Creek Resources is seeking a Pediatrician to join a hospital-employed team in rural Northeastern Oregon. The role features a four-day workweek, outpatient pediatric care, and strong support staff including scribes and behavioral health integration.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
• Active Oregon medical license or eligibility for immediate credentialing.
• Strong clinical skills with commitment to compassionate, high-quality pediatric care.
• Interest in practicing within a rural, community-based healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care, preventive health visits, and acute illness management to pediatric patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
• See an average of 15–20 patients per day with 1:1 dedicated medical support staff.
• Participate in a manageable 1:4 shared call rotation alongside four experienced physicians.
• Utilize EPIC EHR with dedicated scribe support for clinicians seeing 15+ patients per day.
• Collaborate closely with on-site behavioral health specialists, laboratory staff, and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Foster long-term, trusting relationships with children and families in the surrounding rural community.
